Digital Graffiti

I would love to see some branded digital graffiti walls around London, would make a brilliant alternative for all those traditional outdoor ads I see these days...

Human Race 10K Live from the Inside (Nike+)

Nice work from BBDO Argentina. I would love to see something similar but on a larger scale at the London Marathon. Maybe this could be extended with real time donations to encourage your friends while they are running?

The Known Universe: a digital atlas

The American Museum of Natural History has made this very cool video as a part of their exhibition " Visions of the Cosmos: From the Milky Ocean to an Evolving Universe".

The Known Universe takes viewers from the Himalayas through our atmosphere and the inky black of space to the afterglow of the Big Bang. Every star, planet, and quasar seen in the film is possible because of the world's most complete four-dimensional map of the universe, the Digital Universe Atlas that is maintained and updated by astrophysicists at the American Museum of Natural History.

Just watch it and be utterly amazed!

How to be creative: just steal the concept of a multi-awarded campaign!

Today Serge Jespers noticed on Twitter the new campaign for the Belgian retailer Delhaize, click here for the campaign. At first glance you may think this is a good idea and it is, but it is shameful that the agency working for Delhaize just stole the idea without changing much from the multi award winner Eternal Moonwalk made by the Mortierbrigade.

It is especially lame that the Eternal Moonwalk is known by everybody in Belgium and the agency that seems to be responsable is the very respectable TBWA Belgium. Maybe they decided that creativity is no longer important as the Delhaize is pitching.

However as Crusty pointed out, Mortierbrigade also stole the idea from Nike, but they waited 3 years to do so instead of a couple of months!

Yahoo loves Creatives

Yahoo is targeting creatives in their latest campaign to increase brand awareness. It is a smart move to appeal to creatives in the hope that they would think about Yahoo in their concepts as they are not often targeted. The question remains however how much have creatives to say about media channels in an agency? Anyways, it is a good laugh!

Facebook Creative Advertising: Simplicity is Key

I just love this IKEA Facebook showroom idea. It is a very creative way of organizing a contest on Facebook with good understanding of the digital space. I would love to see more of these!
